Tired of your makeup not lasting, or being too sheer? Try theatrical makeup! Regular makeup that you purchase in a drugstore or department store is usually 2-3% pigment, whereas theater makeup is around 10%. It's reasonably priced, and lasts longer because you don't need to use very much. It's not all garish colors either - there's a lot of very natural tones that match a lot of skin tones. Ben nye and Mehron are two of the top brands to check out - go to their websites and find local dealers.

You've heard about renting a tuxedo, but how about renting a handbag or jewelry? The website Bagborroworsteal.com does just that for brand names such as David Yurman, Tiffany, Chanel and Gucci. It's like the Netflix of accessories, in that you shop for your items online, receive them and return them in the mail. You can pay by the week, the month or if you can't part with it, you can buy it and keep it forever.

It's terrible when you ruin or chip a recent manicure or pedicure! Don't fret, most nail salons offer a "nail polish touchup" service that is cheaper than a regular manicure or pedicure. Go to your salon with your chipped nails, bring the bottle you used and they'll do it on the cheap and make everything better. Never pay full price to get your nails done again!
