Jack-O'-Lantern Tips!
Pumpkins dry out way before they actually rot. You can stop this aging process with a little vaseline or some glue. Apply a generous coat of either to all of the carved edges and the inside wall; this will trap the moisture and add up to a week or more to your pumpkin's life. Refrigeration and placing it in the shade during the day also helps. Happy carving!
